The Writer Producer Fund
Grants up to £10,000 for UK based songwriters and writer-producers who are working in popular music genres. This grant is new as of spring 2017 and is from the PRS in association with BASCA.
Funding Criteria

Available to artists who perform but they must want to have a career as a songwriter. This fund will only cover money in development of songwriting careers.

You need to have a previous track record of success, with at least 3 commercially exploited works.

If you don’t have evidence of exploited works, you can give names of at least 5 credited works registered to PRS.

When apply you need to show that you are at a crucial point in your career, have a track record of getting cuts, co-writes and collaborations and are proactive about finding more. Also need to be clear in the kind of records you want to write and produce.

Need to be able to say how the money will be used and how it will help advance your career.
