MUSIC EXPORT GROWTH SCHEME 

Offers grants of £5,000-£50,000 to UK registered independent music companies to help with marketing campaigns overseas for successful UK music projects. Aimed to help artists that have achieved reasonable success in the UK and are looking to break internationally. Helped 130 UK acts promote internationally with over £2 million invested since its start in 2014.

Funding Criteria 
  • Need to be UK based music company with less than €50 million turnover and fewer then 250 employees.

  • 30% of the proposed activity must be funded by the company itself.

  • The amount of money granted will be based on the ambition of the campaign, measured by financial commitment, sales targets and business outputs.

  • This grant will not fund any UK activity, only overseas.

  • Tour support

  • International travel costs

  • Visa costs

  • Venue costs

  • International promotion costs

Success Stories
Deaf Havana

One of the latest bands to recieve funding and they are planning to use the money from the grant for a full US media and retail servicing, including promotion, in support the band’s 4th album release.

Vanessa White

One of the latest recipients. Plans on using the money to tap into in the Philippines, her heritage market, by doing promo visits, doing radio and press, and putting money into digital and social media marketing.
